Aunt Sam and Uncle Chris

Elly finally got to meet her Aunt Samantha and Uncle Chris! They were in San Antonio with their dad when Elly was born. Needless to say, they were quite eager to meet their little niece once they made it back. Samantha is ready for Kris and I to go on a date so she can babysit! Mom's not quite as ready :)

Fresh air

We finally made it out for our first walk with Miss Elly! The weather has been amazing out and I had been wanting to make the most of it before the Texas heat set in. Daddy was supposed to be in the picture but a last minute change was made after he hit Sampson with the stroller (which he admitted was on purpose). Way to ruin a perfectly good evening stroll!!

Visitors galore!!

Miss Elly and I had quite the day yesterday! We had the much anticipated visit from Kris's Memmie and Papaw. They made the trek from Waco to meet their new Great Granddaughter, and it seems as though they were not disappointed! Aunt Joann and Uncle Jimmy couldn't resist another opportunity to see their Grand-niece (is that a word??), so they tagged along as well. When Kris's dad heard about all the visitors, he decided to stop by too! Little Elly wasn't hurting for love yesterday :)

She's here!!!

Ellyson Jean Roebuck has arrived!!! After what seemed like FOREVER, Elly came into this world Monday the 16th at 1:46 pm. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 1/4" long. Everything went as "planned" and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are all happy, healthy and excited to start this new life with our little princess.

38 weeks and counting...

After much anticipation, here is my belly pic. I don't consider it one of my most photogenic moments, but it's about the belly not the rest of the package :) Usually it is Caroline keeping me on top of my posts, but this time it would be my mother! So here you go mom...eat your heart out!
