The dogs...

...have this thing figured out!

What's the best way to get something from point a to point b, you ask? Well...for a busy, busy girlie, in your mouth of course! Elly has discovered the difficulties of trying to crawl through the house AND tote along a very important belonging. The other day she finally figured out that if she picks it up with her mouth, it is much easier to "carry" it along with her. She either picked it up from the dogs or she has quite advanced problem solving skills. Mommy thinks the latter :)



Yes, yes, I know...this is a disaster waiting to happen. Just so you know, it is only foam!

I'm here, but I think I'd rather just keep it in my mouth! A busy girl needs TWO hands!

Seriously?

I think Kris needs some practice with his new toy. The stupid thing reminds me of a crazy hummingbird! Buzzing around the house with a mind of it's own. I was doing a little cleaning the other day, dodging the "bird", when all of a sudden...it hits the wall, zooms past Elly in her jumper and makes a beeline for my head. Kris is lucky is came out easily and that I didn't LOSE AN EYE!!! Geesh!!!

10 months

I can't believe we've made it this far! I'm a little worried that this mommy won't be able to make it to 11 months, with the way Elly runs me ragged! She is so busy that I can hardly keep up with her. Her new found freedom with crawling means that she NEVER wants to be held. The minute I pick her up to give her some love, she is squirming, arching, flailing...anything she can do to get back on that floor!

Bad Hair Day

Elly woke up the other day with some major bed head! I had to get some pictures to prove it to all those "haters" out there who laugh and ask in awe "how did you put that bow in her hair?"

The girl has hair people! It is just so light that you can't see the mass amounts of it :)
